Find out the exact model of your current hard drive
    Look up it's dimensions
    Check them against the WD750

    :)

It's a 2.5" drive, why would it not fit? Is there something special about that specific HP laptop?

WD7500KEVT are 12.5mm high, regular drives are 9.5mm... you have to make sure there's enough room...

I measured the HDD bay, I have betwen 12 and 13mm of space, it looks like it will fit. I wish I had 12.5mm HDD I could try in there before I bought the Western Digital one. So does anyone know where I can find 9.5mm 750GB to 1.5TB 2.5" SATA HDD's just to be safe?

There aren't any yet. The largest 9.5mm 2.5" drive currently is the WD 640 GB Scorpio Blue.

And Seagate and Toshiba also have 640GB 9.5mm drives.

Ah, missed that, although that's probably because all I ever hear about is the Scorpio Blue. XD
