I have an intel graphics media accelerator 900 on my laptop. I was wondering if it's possible to allocate more memory to the video card directly instead of letting the computer automatically allocate the resources. It's currently using 8mb of the system ram, and I was hoping to expand it to the maximum of 128mb.

You could try looking in the bios. That is where the adjustment is usually located.

I tried looking into the bios setup, and there was no option to increase the video memory. I have a thinkpad r52. Perhaps that would help, any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

You can't change the amount of video memory the GMA900 has - it's dynamically allocated, as in, it will take what is needs up to 128MB.
