The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

Surprised a thread hasn't been created on this yet, but Vega has been confirmed for notebooks by Scott Herkelman. Now only time will tell if these will be the full desktop variants, or if they will be gimped.

Perhaps it was already common knowledge, but it wasn't to me. Seems like they're nearing release as well. (Doubt the mobile versions are, of course)

If anyone has any more information, would love to see/hear it.

we barely have info on the desktop card, it's going to be awhile and sadly moot for me as I have decided to go Pascal for my MXM since AMD had nothing ready to go :(

I wouldn't sweat it too much... I imagine the upgradeability path for nvidia's cards will be stronger than those of AMD. At least, the probability is probably better in my mind.

I'm just curious if there was any more information out there ^^
