This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    while i do have a C2D based laptop and am pretty happy i am eagerly waiting for AMD Caspain based notebooks. Considering they are based on the Phenom II Core they might be competitive against Core 2 or the the least be significantly better than the current Turions which are based on original Athlons X2 cores.

    It is surprising there are no benchmarks available for them Is this just vapourware at this point? It's high time there was some real competition atleast on the lower and mid-range.
