The E7K100 is designed to work with blade servers(meant to run 24X7) whereas the 7K100 is for laptops. Both have similar specs, but I would stick with the 7K100 if you want to use it in a laptop.

I'd agree, but both would probably work.

i am plannin on getting the 7K100 for my N6210 to go along with my 80GB 4200rpm drive i got with it, i am going to transfer everything to the new drive and then use the 4200rpm for videos and stuff and put all my games and apps on the fast one, with the two drives i place how easy is it to trasfer files back and forth between the two? and if i want the 7200 as my primary do i need to put it in the place of the other 4200rpm or can i just put it in the open space?

If the hard drive is external, all you have to do is hook the drive up, then click and drag. Are you thinking about putting the second one in your laptop? The N6210 supports dual HDD's. Even then, I think it will be drag + drop. ;)

yep just putting it into my laptop, because i ****ing can baby!!!!! that will be so badass if it is just drag and drop which thinking about it why wouldn't it be?

but i wonder if there is an easy way to transfer everything from the 4200 to my 7200, and have the 4200rpm be completely free?
