Hi! im interested in buying and upgrading this Toshiba Satellite PRO C850-1G8.

It comes with the 22nm 1000m Celeron. Could i replace it with an i3 cpu once it goes cheaper?.

Im also interested in Acer´s Travelmate line, although B960 cant be upgraded (HM70 chipset vs HM76/77).

Will i have the same problem with this,or not? Best regards!.

    P.S.

You need to look at the i3 specs and see what socket it supports before buying the chip itself. Your CPU socket is FCPGA988 and if the i3 doesn't support that you won't be able to make the fit.
