    Hey!

It uses PC-2700 333MHz DDR, and I'm not sure if you can pgrade to DDR2 but it looks like the chipset is 915 so you probrably can.

And the video is a no :(

err if it's using ddr i doubt ddr2 will work cuz the slots that ddr and ddr2 use are different. but since ddr2 doesnt show that much of a performance difference yet it shouldnt matter. if u do upgrade ur ram get faster/more ram.

You'll get the the best performance increase upgrading to a faster hard drive than more memory as long as you already have 512MB.

It might be possible, but is not worth the trouble & the uncertainity. As others have said the RAM & HDD offers the best route for upgrading the laptop.

    1. If the original ram is DDR, you can't change to DDR2. It's keyed differently and it won't fit into the slot.

    2. Most CPU's are upgradable, but it's just a pain to get access to the CPU. You may want to try after your unit is out of warranty because opening up your unit this way will void your current warranty.
