    Hello everyone,
I'm considering to buy a laptop with Intel Core 2 Duo T9400 with NVidia GTX260M and 4GB DDR2 RAM. I need to say first I do not have enough money to go for a quad-core laptop. I would like to know if someone has a similar-configuration laptop and has played BFBC2? How well can I expect this laptop to run BFBC2 (fps, max setting)? Thanks! :D

You will be able to run in medium settings with around 40 - 45 FPS.

Sounds like my previous Sager notebook, except went from 2.8GHz Core 2 Duo to 2.4GHz Quad. I did see a slight improvement with the quad, however Core 2 Duo was fine.

What resolution is it? If it's 1366x768 then you should be able to manage 40 fps with medium to high settings. Otherwise if it's 1080p then you'll have to drop details quite a bit.

BFBC2 benefits from more cores. I went from a Core 2 Quad Q9550 to an i7 940 to an i7 970 and what a difference 2 additional cores make.

Also to reiterate, what resolution are you playing at? That makes a pretty big difference.

Thanks for your inputs, the laptop has native screen of 1440x900 but I hook it to a 20'' monitor to be able to play at 1600x900, probably I will need to lower the resolution and setting for the game to run smoothly because fps is more important for me. Wish I can get to x9100 soon :)
