Can I upgrade my ASUS A8F's hard drive from 80GB to 120GB SSD? I assumed it is using 80GB Sata hard drive. Is SSD compatible for this laptop?

I'm assuming it's using either a MSATA or a 2.5 SATA interface, in which either way you're golden

Yep, it uses 2.5" SATA drive, though it only runs at SATA I speed so you don't need to spend a lot on a fast SSD, it's gonna be bottlenecked by SATA I bandwidth anyway.
