Hey guys I got a portable HDD (160GB Western Digital Passport) awhile ago. I want to use it as just a plain ol' harddrive. I just want to put some music on it and then transfer that to another computer. Anyone know how to do this?

Yeah, it works as a normal USB mass storage device (like any other external HDD). You can copy anything.

Pretty easy - get a hobby knife and start poking around. I don't remember which end I started from, but I don't think it really matters. I took mine apart in like 2 minutes.
