I have a quick undervolting question. My laptop dualboots from either XP Professional or Vista 64 bit. So lets say I undervolted my CPU in Vista 64 bit, would the undervolting still apply in XP Professional? Without the programs required to undervolt installed.

Also, would the new voltages still apply if I did it in Vista then uninstalled the undervolting programs?

    Thanks.. Matthew.

You will need to install undervolting programs in each Windows installation if you want to undervolt in both installations. The undervolts won't be saved if you uninstall the undervolting programs in either installation.

The general gist is that unless you do a hardware mod, you need a UV program to be running to get a UV. Period.

    Okay thanks.

Also, are there any undervolting programs and guides for Mac?
