I just wanted someone to point me in the right direction. Iv got a Dell Studio 17 with the t6400 (2.0ghz) 2gb 800mhz and windows 7. Iv decided to try undervolting to lower temps & battery drain and iv been following the instructions but i think im doing something wrong.

Basically iv dropped the voltage of my 10x multiplier all the way down to 1.000v, down from 1.500 volt. This drop seems far too much but i cant see where iv gone wrong. The temps all seem to drop and CPUz backs it up but it does seem a bit too good to be true.

Can someone just have a quick look over the screens below and let me know what/if anything iv done wrong!

    cheers guys :)

You didn't do anything wrong, that's just how it works. :p

Although you may want to undervolt your other multipliers as well; having your highest one at 1.000v but all the lower ones at 1.500 seems a bit silly.

Got a bit excited & forgot the pics, all up now through!

Dropping it by 2/3rds though? Seem like a massive drop, not going to knock it, dead chuffed if it sticks!

And yes, just about to go through the rest of them now, just wanted to double check i was on the right track! thanks guys :)

1.500 to 1.000v is not dropping it by 2/3, it's dropping it by 1/3. :p

But yeah, I've been running my T9500 at 1.000v at max multiplier for months now and it's been perfectly stable.

What is your temp difference during load before and after undervolting? I dropped 15 deg C.

    That's wrong o_O
Your voltage isn't suppose to be the same for all multipliers. You forgot to apply a setting somewhere

The other voltages are not 1.5, they're 1.15. So the drop isn't that much.

You havent done anything wrong, thats normal.

To set your other voltages automatically, tick "Auto-Adjust Intermediate multipliers" and then select the lowest voltage possible for your 6x multiplier. The rest of the multipliers between 6x-10x should automatically be set.

Are these your default voltages in the second pic? They can't be all the same.. Did you press default to see your cpu's default voltages? And yeah auto-ajustment will apply it to the rest, for me it worked perfectly. (I still did orthos for each multiplier just in case)
