i have an inspiron 1420 mentioned in my sig. i have a USB mouse and a keyboard. The trouble is that sometimes the USB mouse is not recognised on startup and i have to unplug and replug it to make it working. however there is no problem with the usb keyboard.

although this is a minor issue its sometimes quite frustrating.... do u have any idea how this is caused ??

you might be able to download updated drivers from the manufacturers site
