This seems like a stupid question, but I can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for from searching/browsing so now I need to crowdsource. I'm guessing some of you will be able to answer this with half a glance.

I have broken TWO little white connectors on my girlfriend's laptop motherboard (had to completely disassemble to clean out heat sink). They seemed very brittle and no wonder since the laptop is 4 years old and has been overheating badly for a long time. I don't know what they're called or what to look for to get replacements, help!

The attached photo is of: 1 The bottom half of the connector that used to be attached to 2, the 4 wires that go to the lcd and 3, the receiving end on the motherboard, which isn't broken.

PS yes item #1 is actually the other broken connector which is why it has slots for 5 wires and not 4, it was in better shape, though,

Well to me it looks like it's maybe the connector for the webcam (it does have a webcam in the screen right?).

Might not need that at all, or could get a USB webcam.

Don't know where you could find the new part you need to repair it.
