Is there a noticeable difference between the 1.8 GHz Turion MT and the 2.0 GHz Turion MT? (1mb cache versions) I'll be playing high end games and doing schoolwork on my computer.

If money's an issue now, and I'm planning to upgrade the processor later anyway, would it be more adviseable to just get a 1.8 now and upgrade to the 2.2 or (is this going to be made?) 2.4 MT later?

Or would I notice a difference in those .2 GHz?

    Yeah, about 11%.
Seriously, if you want to play "high end games" then you want to worry *much* more about your graphics card than your processor speed (within reason, of course).
For any other work, there will be no appreciable difference.

    Ok, other question....

Is the Pentium M 1.86 GHz more directly comparable to the Turion 1.8 or Turion 2.0?

Agree with miner - 1.8 P-M seems to equate more to 1.8GHz Turion. That would be across a range of benches, but Turions are good but not faster per clock cycle than P-M's.
