    Hardware:
    - USB 3 on laptop;
    - 16GB RAM;
    - C:\ SSD;
    - D:\ HDD;
    - G:\ external HDD USB 2.

    Software:
    - Windows Ultimate 7 64 bit, transfer over Explorer, file used is a movie about 2GB big.

    Working scenario:
    - first step - Copy from G to D, reported speed about 35 MB/s. External drive will work quite a bit on this.

    - second step - Copy from D to G, reported speed is 1.78 GB/s, transfer takes a few seconds, hardly any activity on any of the drives compared to step 1.

    - third step - Copy from G to D (again), transfer is almost instant, I barely have time to press More details for a speed reading.

    I might be a little behind with tehnology. How does this work? After first transfer is the movie cached in RAM? Is there a feature I am missing?
