    Toshiba power adapter toubleshooting
I am trying to find information for a Toshiba PA3237U-1ACA power adapter ( 4-pin " doghouse " type connector ). I am attempting to splice the cord from a dead junked aftermarket adapter that has a 4 conductor cord to a factory adapter with 2 conductor cord ( broken plug) . I need to verify the polarity connections .

Facing the plug of the adapter it looks like -

    /1 - 2\

    3 - blank - 4

    Thanks

the link below should clue you into how to tell positive from negative..
LED IS GONNA BURN REALLY BRIGHT THEN BLOW WHEN HOOKED UP CORRECTLY
