Hi i have a A305-S6916 with win 7 ultimate everything worked great until just last night. The webcam stopped working. It used to say Chicony 2.0 now it just says usb webcam, i cant find any drivers for it, i tried everything driver programs, vista programs but i just cant find a driver for it anywhere, when i download the vista webcam software it says driver fail and to restart camera or computer. Any help out there or maybe a driver for it.

If you had the drivers installed in there already, try to do a driver roll back.

If/when it does go back to your previous Chicony 2.0 driver (might need a reboot) - go to windows update, check for updates and make sure you right click and select 'hide' for any of the camera driver updates offered.

    Good luck.

    Hmmm... I'm confused.

Did you just try to roll back the driver for the webcam?
