I'm looking to upgrade the hard drives of two laptops, one is a Toshiba M55-S325 and the other is a Gateway MX6425. What I'm thinking of doing is putting the hard drive from the Toshiba into the Gateway and getting a new hard drive for the Toshiba. The hard drive from the Toshiba is the original 100GB and the hard drive I'm looking to get for the Toshiba is this one:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152114&CMP=AFC-C8Junction

What I need to know is if this will work, if the hard drive swap will work and if the new hard drive will work, if they're compatible. I really don't know too much about this so any help is appreciated.

I don't think that drive will work in the toshiba, the one you linked is sata, and I don't believe the toshiba is a sata connection
