    To upgrade a screen or not.

    I have the LP171wx2, in a Dell e1705... Im looking to upgrade but aren't really sure of what my options are.I currently have a WXGA+ Matte screen and desire WUXGA Glossy, and the brighter the screen the better. Im reasonably sure that WUXGA screens will work with the cable as i have checked with DELL and their system on records one display cable for this model even though this model did ship with WUXGA screens(to my incredible sorrow at not buying one then...)

    I know the Inverter (a proprietary connection to the vid card i think) in this model is unfortunately not easy to replace so i would assume dual lamp LCDs are out of the question. Im really looking at both the LP171WU5 and the LP171WU4 IF LEDs dont require a different inverter which i would suspect they do... The B170UW01 is also appealing...

    Any well informed help/advice would be very useful.
