This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Question is, will I ever be able to upgrade the Core Duo to the Core Duo 2 or whatever in the future?

    You should really use the search function because this question has been asked dozens of times. The core 2 duo uses the same chipset as the core duo so it just requires a swap and a bio update
