    Hi,

could anybody help me please? I have an issue with the internal wifi card Intel 4965AGN. I bought Lenovo ThinkPad T61p through eBay and now I've discovered that neither Windows nor Linux can find this wifi card. Please, is there anything I can do besides throw it away?

    Thanks in advance.

How certain are you that it has a WiFi card? I'm less familiar with Windows hardware reporting, but I'm pretty sure that if 'lspci' on Linux does not show that, it isn't there.

One thing to check is to make sure the card is fully seated in the slot. If it is not making good electrical connection, the computer won't see it.

    HTH and good luck!

lspci doesnt see it but I've checked it and the card is there. I am afraid that the pci express bus is broken.

Did you make sure you connected it properly? All the wires going to the right connectors.

or you could always install drivers for it first ... and then try again :D
