Hi everyone! I have some weird problems with my computer, I hope you can help me.
It all started weeks ago when I turned it on and the screen was with no light on the background (you could see the image but it was almost black). I didn't know what to do, si I turned it off and I laid the computer upside down on a surface. After that I turned it on again and everything was okay.
The problem came back a couple of weeks ago but this time it was worst. Now whenever I turn on my computer the image on the screen is gone. After trying for a while (turning it on and off), the image does come, but if I move the computer, color stripes appear on the screen. Also sometimes when I turn it on and there's no image it helps if I move the computer to another surface, because then the image appears.
At the beginning I thought that I was going to have to replace my motherboard. But then I realized that the image is not gone all the time and that the stripes only appear when I move the laptop. So if the motherboard is the problem, it might not be completely damaged.
Also I've been losing the sound in my computer; actually the driver appears and disappears.
Can anyone guide me please? I really depend on my computer and I wanna know if there's anything I can do without having to replace any part.
    Thanks!!!

You might want to check your ribbon that attaches to your screen, and inverter. You'll have to open up your lid for that.....good luck.

That same thing happened with my old Dell laptop back in 2007.

Video card was dying. I ended up trashing it as it had given me 4 years of daily use already.
