This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     As far as I can tell, this is the first thread ever mentioning this SSD on this forum. I can't find any benchmarks on this line, but it's used by Sun Microsystems in the servers they sell, and is often mentioned alongside the X25-E.

    Would anyone happen to know more about this particular SSD? I'm eyeing a SLC variant of this SSD for usage in a notebook.

    I've found mention of this SSD on some networking sites, and originally it cost about $300/GB. The standard version achieves something like 400 Random Write IOPS, which isn't anything special. Even so, it was (is?) a dominant SSD when it comes to enterprise implementations.
