I bought this laptop a few years back, and since the day i bought it it has had a battery life of one hour. I feel like at this point it was a waste of money for a laptop that you cant really take anywhere as I intended to do. Is there anyway to get more batt life outta this thing. My thinking on it is that it's the celeron 2.4ghz proc thats runs full steam all the time. if thats the case can i change the processor out with something a little more energy efficent if not alot more. Thanks

There are several things to consider...the Celeron 2.4GHz is not a mobile processor and hence the laptop will not be compatible with any of the new mobile processors like the Celeron M or the Pentium M.
Your only upgrade options would be upgrading to a higher speed grade or might just be able to replace it with another power hog - the Pentium 4.

So I agree with what zazonz suggested, it is better to look at a newer laptop.
