    hmmm.
How long was your system on for?
    It could be from overheating.
Wait about an hour for it to cool down, and then try powering up again.
If the system does not turn back on then you have a problem.
It could be a variety of things, such as a bad motherboard, or graphics card.

I hope it turns back on when it cools down.

I had this EXACT same problem.
and what i mean is, i was in the middle of playing a game,
and the laptop shut off abruptly, and would not turn back on.
no lights, no blinking, no thinking, no humming, no buzzing,
no bios starting and then shutting off, no nothing, totally dead.
    d e a d.
after it cooled down (waited about 3hrs), i tried plugging/unplugging it, powering it on with the battery, without the battery etc etc no luck.
after two days, i could tell the withdrawal symptoms were setting in when i found myself in the middle of my office room at night with candles and incense burning and had the laptop on the floor encircled with a goat's blood pentagram and gripping tightly a tiny philips screwdriver. i gutted her open and aimed straight for the CMOS battery, unplugged it for a few seconds and put it back in. put her back together, plugged in the power supply and li battery and bingo. back form the dead. my FZ was saved, and thank god, because I am months out of warranty!

i hope this works for anyone else having the same problem, you can probably substitute ketchup for the goat's blood and get the same effect. just be sure to hit f2 upon bootup and reset the time in the bios. also to note, the WLAN wasn't working right off the bat, i had to soft disable the device and re-enable it and then everything was good to go.

    tl;dr
    try resetting the CMOS chip.
