    Hello everyone,
I have an Asus G51 laptop with Intel P7350, 4GB RAM DDR2 and NVIDIA 260GTX 1GB. I've recently purchased Bad Company 2 and Shogun 2 but can only run them at medium and to get acceptable fps. I think I would be because of my CPU, so I am considering to upgrade to T9400 for $150. My question is after the upgrade, will I be able to run these games smoothly at high quality? Thanks!

Why T9400? Go all the way upto T9800 or T9900.

Why go for a T9400 when you can get a P8700 for cheaper and it's nearly the same...plus I thought BC2 was more cores bound not slower clock speeds.

Unfortunately my budget is limited, I found T9400 on ebay for around $150 (used). But if it does not help me get significantly better quality in games then I'm not gonna spend money on it. Do we really need a quadcore cpu to max out the game?
