    Okay here's my question. I have a Dell E1705 w/ a GeForce Go 7800. I see that it includes a DVI port. I am wanting the ability to hook this up to my 32" LCD display...without losing the DVI link to my HD Cable box......would a DVI switch work for something like this?

    The switches would work. I have a friend using one in his home theater system. No reason the DVI out on the video card won't be compatible.
