    I can attest to the 7200.3 320gb 7200rpm 16mb Seagate drive being quiet. I just replaced a 7k200 with the Seagate drive and its WAAAYYYY quieter than the Hitachi 7k200. And yes, I did and do have acoustic management on both turned off/set to the highest performance. I'm pretty impressed with the Seagate...I was pretty apprehensive getting it though since I haven't used a Seagate drive since over 6 years ago when a desktop Seagate drive failed on me.
