    Hello to everyone!
This is my first post and I come straight away with a question :p
I have an old Toshiba Tecra M5 laptop wich has some screen problems (flickering, almost no backlight).
So I bought another Tecra M5 (with a broken motherboard but a working screen) on Ebay.
Now I realised that there are a lot of Tecra M5 with different specs (ok, I'm definitely a laptop noob).
    So now I have:
    Old Tecra:
    -Intel Core 2 Duo T5600 1.83 GHz
    -Mobile Intel 945GM Express
    -xga screen (semibroken)

    Newer Tecra:
    -Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 / 2 GHz
    -Mobile Intel 945PM Express
    -sxga screen

I already tried to connect the sxga screen to the old Tecra: it does turn on but no image is displayed.
Then I tried the old display with the new inverter (exact same model) but sadly the inverter is not the problem.
Can I somehow replace that display? maybe by swapping other parts too.
    Thank you,
    Teddy

This is easy and shouldn't take you more than an hour and a half to do the first time plus you get a decent upgrade by using the t7200 in the working board.
