    Screen response time

    My screen is advertised at 8 ms response time. Google shows that most laptops are 10-25 ms. Is there a way for me to test/verify my response time?

    Have a CRT hooked up besides the notebook and then start an application timer at the exact same time o both screens that can time milliseconds.
    Then use a camera to take a photo of them both besides and then look at the time difference between them both.

    That's the only trick i know that you can do to really see how much lag there is.
