Occasionally (usually after sleep) my screen will be faded/washed out real whitish/grayish looking for a while. Does this mean I have a bad video card or something? I think it happens most on integrated (core i) graphics.

How long is "a while"? What model of notebook do you have? Doe the same thing happen when you bootup? It may just be that it takes a little while for your screen components to warm back up to operating temperatures.

It happens on my Envy 14 and Inspiron 14R. It seems like it can last for a few minutes than it goes back to normal. Never happens on BIOS screens or before windows starts.

I'm not too worried because it seems to only happen once in a while and goes away pretty quick. Just wanted to confirm if this is a known problem with core i integrated graphics. Thanks!

I don't think it's a known problem with Core i integrated graphics; at least not one I've ever heard of.
