Does anybody have the Series 7 and installed a SSD in it?
I was wondering how it would work with the 8GB express cache.
Also, I wanted to clarify if the express cache is installed in the hard drive itself or on the motherboard?

I have the same question - I just purchased the Series 7 Chronos laptop and should have it next week. I intend to replace the HDD with an SSD and I'm also wondering how it should be setup in conjunction with the 8GB express cache. Is there even any point in using it as a cache? FYI - from everything I've read the 8GB express cache is soldered onto the motherboard. Supposedly you can enable/disable it via Samsung Easy Settings application.

I disabled express cache after installing the ssd...it's recommended because it can actually slow the ssd interaction.
