What is the difference between the two drives in the title of the thread?

What is the difference between HX-M101UAB and HX-M101TAB models of the 1TB M2?

Lastly, which drive contains the new Smasung Spinpoint M8 1TB drive?

    Please help. Thanks.

From what I've been able to figure out from Samsung's website, the S2 is 7200rpm whereas the M2 is 5400 rpm.

From the case thickness specs, neither seems to be using the latest M8 since the 1TB's are thicker than the 750GBs.

But I thought the largest capacity of a 2.5" 7200rpm nowadays is only 750GB? how could an s2 be 1TB and at the same time 7200rpm?

So your external drive will still be faster if you buy a spinpoint m8 1TB and an external enclosure?

Also, how were you able to conclude that the S2 and M2 don't have the new Spinpoint m8 whent that spinpoint is only 9.5mm thick ( thinner than
    Conventional 12.5mm 1tb 2.5" hdds)?
