    hi i am thinking of buying an ssd drive, what are the requirements i should be aware of in order for the drive to be compatible with my asus s6f (pata)? for example are all pata drives 44pin? can UATA drives be used in pata slots without any adapters etc. thanks

    I dont know if this will help, but if you check manufacturers such as Mtron, you will find PATA versions available.

    Also, if you are new, I would recommend any of the articles below starting with the new SSD thread. I just added 3 great videos that explain the SSD.
