Hi guys,
I need your help;
I will get delivery of my new laptop which comes with a HDD installed (and OS on it);
Now, and given the laptop (Clevo p150em) has a msata slot I would like to:
1) Put a 256gb SSD to replace mechanical HDD and put OS, programs and games on it;
2) add a 120gb msata to store files;
I would like someone to help me answering to followiong questions:
1)What do I need to do/know before installing both?
2)Is there any BIOS issue I should check first?
3) DOes it make sense to have a msata ssd to store files?
4) is there a guide on how to install and keep in good order any SSD?
5) Which is the best msata 120GB? (for the SATA 6 I have chosen Corsair PErformance pro)
Thanks so much for your help;
With My Kindest Regards
Oscar

For keeping an SSD in working order, install the OS on the SSD from Windows 7 install media so partition alignment is correct, do not defrag an SSD, maintain sufficient free space.
Two excellent mSATA drives are Crucial M4 & Mushkin Atlas. The Crucial comes in 256 GB capacity @ 219.99, and the Mushkin comes in 240 GB @ 239.99. The prices quoted are from Newegg.com, and you will have to catch them in stock as they have been selling out quickly when available. I beleive the Crucial M4 is available directly from Crucial for a few dollars more.
