I have a X205-SLi3, the notebook has SLI 8600GT. As you may alread know there are three performance levels the GPU can set itself to operate at 2D/Low3D/High3D - 169Mhz/275Mhz/475Mhz respectively (for 8600GT spec).

I have a problem when i enable SLI mode in NVIDIA Control Panel, once enabled, the GPUs are stuck at High3D performance level at all times. No matter how long i leave the notebook idle...it never goes back to low3D or power save mode.

My question is, is this a known issue for all SLI setup? Can anyone help me fix this?

    Thanks in advance

Well that certainly is bad news since it can cost you your battery life, how about reinstalling the driver for your graphics card and see if it works..
