    Hi

I have a notebook with a trackpoint. I want to reprogram the scroll key or one of the keys for the trackpoint into the 'middle button' that I rely on heavily for opening links in new tabs automatically.

    Help please

    THanks!

    For synaptic--
Control Panel -> Mouse -> Device Settings -> Settings -> Tapping -> Tap Zones -> Enable Tap Zones -> Bottom/Top Left/Right Action -> Middle Click

The exact commands to get it done may of course vary pending on your device and what not, but this should get you in the right place.
