I read a while back that u can buy battery cells cheap and put them in the battery pack and have a like new battery. My battery has a 60% wear level, I alredy bought a new one cause I couldnt handle it. LOL So it would really wouldnt be that bad if it screwed up, cause I still have a new one, and I would have 2 good ones if it works out.

Is this possible, where can I buy them in Florida(online)

Well there are companies that will remove the existing cells and put new ones in, Some people have also made homemade batteries from NiMh batteries but you wouldnt try that with a lithium battery because they are extremely volatile and tend to explode if over or undercharged ...overheated...underheated ...wet ....looked at funny, you get my point.

Wow 60% wear level...thats just wow. I thought I had it bad with my Aspire 5002 which has an 8% wear level after 6 months. How long have you had your laptop for?

Anyways, if I remember correctly, RadioShack probably did replace laptop battery cells at one point. Not sure if it does now. or maybe SourceCC. I would go check with both, depending on your location.
