    Hey all,

Just got a new notebook on wednesday.. Samsung X60 w/ 2Gb RAM

    however, the ram is PC2-4200

is it worth me buying 2Gb PC2-5300 and selling the old RAM

Would i see any noticable performance increase?

    regards

    Chris

From what people have been saying, no.

I think it would actually mostly depend on how much you could get for your RAM first.

A lot depends on your pockets. However I'm sure you could get a good chunk of your money back selling the ram in it.
