    Please... Show me a screen that does good in direct lighting. Then we will talk. Untill then i will stick to my glossy screen it looks very nice and dosent bother me unless someone shines a light directly into it.

    I found that Sony high end model is less reflective than others. My Sony XBrite HiColor screen is less reflective than Dell's. It's not perfect but still better than others.

    I agree with Tippey764. The author of the article clearly made the position of the glossy screens to be directly into the light or in an angle that creates the most reflection on purpose. A lot of the screens were also turned off. And the mat screen pictures were taken in different angles.

    True, some Sony's have a semi reflective display, like Macbook Air.

    I personally dig glossy screens. Love the contrast and vibrance of the colors.

    Contrary to common belief I have no problem working outside with glossy displays, as long as the backlight is over 200 cd/m.

    I like my glossy screen, i get nice colours and i'm never without a mirror xD
