This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I have a Sony laptop that doesn't have a native Sony port replicator designed for it.

    Does anyone have a recommendation for a decent USB port replicator that includes VGA support?

    I am looking at Addlogix's new UniXpress USB 2.0 Port Replicator, but don't know if it lives up to the hype of being able to play DVDs thru the port replicator. Anyone had experience with their product, or recommend something better?
