This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I'm getting a tv tuner for my dorm room and I'm having a lot of problem chosing one. A lot of them have contradicting reviews and I have no idea what to look for.

    The things I'll be using it for is watching tv, recording tv programs, and maybe using it to capture video.

    I'll be using this on my laptop.

    ATI TV Wonder is a good external TV tuner.
