    Hi,

I recently upgraded my ram from 6GB [2GB + 4GB] 1333mhz hynix to 8GB [4GB + 4GB] Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz. The problem is, i get BSOD if the rams are in dual channel. If they are in single channel, then no BSOD. Memtest86+ also show errors after test 5. However these errors only occur when the ram is in dual channel setup. I ran memtest86+ on individual stick and found zero errors. The same result came when i ran both stick in single channel setup; no errors. i know my processor will only support 1333mhz, but shouldn't the ram have down clocked on its own. So, is the ram at fault or is it something else?

Obviously: the RAM is at fault.

    Get different sticks to try.
