The thing is im asking about a Desktop PC.
I dont know where else I could post the question?
I dont understand what the difference between pc2-5300, pc2-3200.
If my current ram is pc2-3200, can I upgrade and use pc2-5300?

If your computer was PC-3200 it wouldn't be PC2 so it would not be compatible. If it was PC2-6000 or whatever and your computer was PC2-5400 it would be. Hope that helps.

PC3200 (DDR2) does exist. You need to tell us more about your system if you want to know if it will "work", it should function but not at the increased speed if not supported by system.

Maybe you should put this in the desktop section, seeing how every other one is about notebook...

If yours has pc2 3200 ram, then the pc2 5300 will work, just not necessarily at the full speed. But it will fit since it's ddr2.
