I have a Vostro 1500 (Winows XP) and I have recently upgraded from 2x512mb to 2x2Gb. My windows is able to boot up, but the system crashes. I am able to run my computer in safe mode, and the memoy is recognized. I am not sure why I am having these issues with my system crashing. Any help or information would be appreciated.
    Thank-You

First, be sure that your rams are properly seated...try taking them out and putting them back in. Then try one of the modules or the other. If it still crashes...try this...to check whether you've got faulty ram or not. :)

I have ran the Windows memory Diagnostic, and all of the tests passed. If no errors are dectected how come my computer continues to lock up with this ram module. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Try using 1 of the 2Gb cards at a time, one of the cards may have some corrupt memory cells, causing it to reboot.
Try using one of the 2Gb cards, and if it still crashes, shut it off and put the other 2Gb memory card in and boot it up.
If this fixes it then you know one of your memory cards is bad.
Contact the manufacturer, or store/website you bought the memory from and they will give you another memory card.

Hopefully you can figure out which one is the bad memory card through trial and error.
