Just for the hell of it..

I am buying the sager 9750 to replace my desktop. Then, I'll be giving my desktop to my mother. I as just wondering though, how crappy/decent or whatever is the Radeon x300 SE? that's the card my desktop has. Would it be able to play any of todays games like black adn white 2 or whatever? I haven't really tried it. I played doom 3 on it for a little bit last yera. I think it was doom 3. I don't know what settin git was on though.

    Thanks

i'm using a Radeon x300 SE with 128MB PCI-E video card(Fanless one) in my desktop. It cannot handle some high performance games. Basic games seem to be ok. You should choose a little bit higher this one such as ATI x1400~ x1600 or Nvida 6600 or up.

No, it will not play very many games. Like Iter said, get at least an X1400(what I have) or the Nvida 6600 or up.

    What is your budget?

Well, actually I don't need to upgrade it at all in the desktop. It's 1.5 years old and I'm just going to give it to my mother.

I'm buying the Sager 9759 which comes with nVidia GeForce 7900 GTX 512MB (as soon as it comes out in the next few weeks)
