    RAM replacement in Acer Aspire 5610z

    Hi
    I am trying to upgrade my RAM in this laptop, I am unable to locate exactly which is the Memory compartment, I have opened one next to the Battery compartment but it looks like HDD,so I wanted to find out from some of you guys to make sure i don't mess it up. Thanks for your help in anticipation.

    1. Remove the six screws fastening the thermal module cover.
    2. Detach the thermal cover from the notebook.
    3. Pop out the memory then remove it.

    Do you have any more compartment? It's nothing you can mess up by just opening them up and have a looksi. So best thing is not to be scared to try to just check out what's under another "lid" :)
