    Hey guys

Just a quick question if someone knows. I have a Sony VGN-SZ61WN currently with 2GB of RAM installed. I want to upgrade this to 4GB and I was about to order but I noticed the maximum capacity for this model is 2GB see here:
    http://support.vaio.sony.eu/computing/vaio/specifications/index.aspx?l=en_GB&m=VGN-SZ61WN_C

    and here:
    http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.aspx?model=VAIO VGN-SZ61WN/C

This seems strange as some SZ6 models support 4GB. Does anyone know if it will support 4GB? I presume the maximum speed will be 667mhz due to Santa Rosa.

Thanks for any replies, really appreciate any help. :)

Your laptop supports up to 8GB of ram. The Sony spec is not correct. Others with an SZ6 and using the most recent BIOS have been able to upgrade to 8GB.
