    Ok. I know its easy. However, to set some people's minds at ease they want me to see a tutorial, preferably with pictures, on how to install ram into an e1705.

    Do any of them already exist? If so, could you direct me toward them?

    PLEASE make sure you have read the cautions....touch one of the metal connectors on the back before you start to mess around with your laptop's insides....

    yea. I've got antistatic wrist strap, the pads, the works. Discharge capacitors, touch unpainted metal frame, etc.

    Thx 8) I'd do it underwater if wasn't so wet :D ultimate grounding!

    Yes. definitly remember to ground yourself to properly before handling this stuff. I remember the first time I replaced my ram and one of them became defective because i failed to do so.
